Hello again, Iran – Startup Weekend Tourism Tehran called!

37I was recently invited back to Tehran, Iran in less than a couple of months since I was last there (1, 2, 3). It seems like only yesterday I was there and I was absolutely delighted and incredibly humbled by the opportunity to come back – and so soon!

This time I was invited to facilitate Startup Weekend Tourism Tehran. And what a spectacularly extravagant event it was!

Do you know that many nationalities can get a tourist visa to Iran relatively easy and affordable these days? Why not go to Iran to see for yourself for your next holidays!?

Let’s start with the venue. When was the last time you saw a Startup Weekend in the last Shah of Iran’s palace gardens?

Back then in 2012 I wanted to bring Startup Weekend to my town of Cologne, so I participated (a requirement to become an organizer) at SWAMS (as it came highly recommended as one of the best SWs in Europe) to become an organizer myself.

Keynoting London Intrapreneurship Conference

Screen Shot 2015-08-20 at 10.59.48

I’m delighted to announce that I have been invited as a keynote speaker to the London Intrapreneurship Conference. As you might already know, I’ve been helping large corporations with achieving continuous innovation as a process for some time now through my +ANDERSEN & ASSOCIATES.

I’m very excited to be sharing what we’ve learned so far, that we now know it is possible to run innovation as a data driven process internally in large companies, that we now have innovation metrics (KPIs) and the management tools needed.

UPDATE: Here are the slides.
